Rafael Grampa is awesome! There's not really much else to say. He's an absolutely amazing artist, and I've been wanting more ever since I first saw his wolverine story in Strange Tales II #1. Mesmo delivery is a double-length, fight club-ice road truckers hybrid romp with a whole lot of crazy sprinkled on top. It was published by Ad House books and is about 56 pages - which includes some character design and sketches by Mr. Grampa himself.


Writing:

To be perfectly honest, he could write about anything, and if he's drawing it will be awesome. The story here is VERY simple...basically 2 delivery truck drivers are delivering a delivery...and then some crazy fighting/knifing/awesomeness goes down...and that's it. Hooked? But seriously, the writing gets the job done, which is to lay down an easy-to-understand story which is allows the gorgeous art to unfold.

Art:

It's probably just best to let the art do the talking. It's awesome, and unlike anything else I've seen.




Overall:

This is just an awesome book from one of the best new artists around. As long as you don't have a problem with violence (or awesomeness) then you should definitely pick this up!
